WHATEVER THE DAY BRINGS

It’s not everyday we wake up cheerful or hopeful that things will go as we wish. In fact, there are days it seems as if everything is against us. We may slip on the bathroom floor, scuff our toes on the stairs, burn our breakfast and lock ourselves out of the car while going to close the gate as we leave home.

People may also seem to have conspired against us: picking offence unnecessarily and refusing to cut us some slack. Even loved ones like siblings and spouses may appear unusually difficult to deal with compounding our notion that the day is doomed.

But nothing is beyond the saving power of our mighty God. When it seems we are on a negative fatalistic course, all we need to do is pause and hand the reins of our life and day properly back to God. He can redirect us and obviate some of the troubles ahead.

Just like being on a roll shouldn’t make us forget God, consecutive encounters with evil shouldn’t make us lose hope. Some days start great, others don’t, but there’s always something salvaged at the end by the grace of God.

Scriptural references:
“… call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.” – Psalm 50:15 (KJV)

“As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me. Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice. He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me ….” – Psalm 55:16-18 (KJV)

Indeed ,nothing is beyond the saving power of our mighty God. the bible said that God is the God of all flesh, is there anything impossible for him to do?. I have come to realise that God does not fail, though there will be challenges on the way, but he that keepeth Israel neither sleep ps nor slumbers.

Nothing, I mean nothing, is beyond God’s Control. He perfects things for us and also determines our days. Nothing is beyond the saving power of God and he alone saves us truly from distresses and attacks. He made us to understand that one with him is majority and that wherever he dwells, there is liberty. The Bible made everything clear and with him, I believe we r and will he saved.

Seriously there are times in my life that it seems nothing is working for me,I will just be feeling bad and unhappy….but one thing I noticed is that when ever I remember this word “whatever today may bring lord, you will give me cause to praise you at the end”…. My mum usually make use of this word and it have always been my pillar of survival……thank you Jesus for everything that happens to my life

In life there would be difficult situations.times of hardship when you feel the world is actually going to collapse on our heads, It all determines how we tend to react to such situations that makes us either strong or weak, in situations like this putting God first, is the right way to follow such situations and having a positive mindset that even in the hardest of days all would be well.

    Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord , thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. His word always comforts me in time of difficulties.

There’s nothing impossible in the sight of the Lord . A day is like a thousand days and vice versa before him. There are situations that when you look at in the perspective of a mortal man, is in surmountable. God is always in control and that is number one encouragement

    Great post.
Sometimes, when I’m having a really bad day and it seems like annoyances keep popping up one right after another, I take a deep breath and think to myself, “I can do this, God wouldn’t let these things be happening if I can’t deal with them”. I trust that no matter what, He will grant me the fortitude to ride the storm. Praise God!!

Whatever the day brings, I know I have a God that is capable to handle all things, all I need to do is to trust him. I know who holds tomorrow and i know who holds my hand, so let God do the holding and I the trusting.

Sometimes I wake up with negative thoughts and unnecessary anger, I pray to God to direct me throughout that day and to also turn around the plans of the evil ones to my Favour and trust me it works because after the prayer I start feeling like my normal self.

  • Richards Orighomisan

Not everything go as expected. In all, give thanks to God. Everything happens for good. Just pray and hope on God, he never fails
