LOOKING FOR FRESHNESS AND FRUITFULNESS?

It is the desire of most people to look good and accomplish a lot in their lifetime. But economic difficulties, emotional turmoil and other troubles often get in the way. The devil also works hard to mislead people, pervert the original purpose for their lives and scuttle their plans of doing good. But there is a power beyond us that can make a difference if we bring it into the picture. That power is the power of God.

We are advised, in the Bible, to bring that power into operation by acknowledging the Lord.

“Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge Him. As surely as the sun rises, He will appear; He will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.” – Hosea 6:3 (NIV)

The LORD promises us the following when acknowledge Him:
“I will be like the dew to Israel; he will blossom like a lily. Like a cedar of Lebanon he will send down his roots; his young shoots will grow. His splendour will be like an olive tree, his fragrance like a cedar of Lebanon. Men will dwell again in his shade. He will flourish like the grain. He will blossom like a vine, and his fame will be like the wine from Lebanon.” – Hosea 14:5-7 (NIV)

The import of the scriptures cited so far is that if we don’t want to wither and dry, if we want to be fresh and fruitful, if we want to be a blessing on the earth, we should put God in the saddle of our lives. And how specifically do we do this? By renouncing sin and accepting Jesus as our Lord and Saviour. He died to reconcile us to God and lives to help us please Him by His Spirit.

As we do this, the promises in the scriptures above will be our portion.
There will be beauty, virtue, and other admirable stuff in our lives. We will also be empowered to positively affect the lives of others by offering them the salvation, provision, protection, and every good inheritance we have in the Lord.

So may it be unto Your people, oh LORD, in Jesus name.

having God be at the forefront of our lives is the greatest power anyone can choose to have, even earthly powers are powers also but it can never give you the 100 percent guarantee that power of God gives. One with God minus sin should live a boss life

many people constantly remember to ask God for wealth and other things but forget to return glory to God.even though He won’t force you to glorify Him but He needs it.

Acknowledging God for who He is and what He is in our lives is the greatest honour one can give him. When He blesses you today glorify him, even when in His wisdom He decides to delay the blessing glorify and acknowledge Him ‘the Holy one of Israel.’ Through immense prayer and fasting as Christians we refresh our spirit man and burning passion for the sake of truth.
