A BIRTHDAY SONNET FOR YOU (POEM)
Today is your day
Tomorrow’s another’s day
So, don’t just give it away
But rather use it to pray
–
We’ll love to hear you sing
As to you our gifts we bring
But everyday just try to cling
To the God that makes you ring
–
Together we’ll celebrate
The God that has made us great
It isn’t a time to deliberate
But a moment to jubilate
–
So as the music is ready to play
I’ll love to say, “Happy Birthday”

It’s a beautiful birthday poem.Birthdays are always days to jubilate and celebrate indeed. They are meant to remind us of God’s unfailing protection and grace for each new year that has been added to our lives.
