DON’T YOU EVER WALK ALONE! (POEM)
It’s that time of year again when I celebrate a special young woman, my niece, Ezinne. As believers, the Lord Jesus should be our closest friend. Still, a crucial nourishment for our growth in life is the relationships we build with other people. Our zeal to worship should not preclude this lest we become malformed and suffer from avoidable physical and psychological issues. This is the theme of my birthday poem for her this year.
Love you, sweetie! You’ll always be and have the best in life in Jesus’ name. Have a fantastic birthday!!! ????????❤️

DONT YOU EVER WALK ALONE!
As you turn thirteen today
A vibrant life for you I pray
A life enriched with people known
A life that never walks alone
Walk with God to pick your friends
Form strong bonds that nothing rends
With young, old, rich and poor
Male, female, and every colour
Friends will spur and cheer you on
Push you when your strength is gone
Friends will help you keep it real
When by grace you become a big deal
Never think faith is all you need
True, the Lord should take the lead
But we function best when we connect
With folks like us that He selects
