Our God is a holy God. His glory comes not just from His majesty, but from His purity, His spotlessness. Many people long to radiate the same aura to the world. But how can we, human beings who often err, reflect His glory? (Inanimate things by their very existence show forth the wonders of our Creator God but we human beings with our self-will often make wrong choices that prevent us from doing so or that cause us to reflect something quite contrary to the beauty of our God. What we say about God is often negated by our actions that do not honour Him.)

We, therefore, need cleansing from our sins through the blood of Jesus. Subsequently, the indwelling of our person by God’s Spirit can enable us to live a life in consonance with God’s standards as shown in His word if we submit to Him. Then we can begin to reflect God’s glory.

We need to be born again and live according to God's word to reflect His glory. Click To Tweet

This is a choice we can make today and we will see a marked difference between our lives and the degenerate lives around us and by God’s grace, we can help them choose the better way – JESUS. This is the implication of Matthew 5:16, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

1 Peter 3:1-2 puts in clearer terms: “Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; While they behold your chaste conversation* coupled with fear.” Although this passage refers to wives in relation to their husbands, the message is applicable to every believer that has dealings with the unsaved.

Our God is a holy God. His glory comes not just from His majesty, but from His purity, His spotlessness. Many people long to radiate the same aura to the world. It got my attention. I pray that God give us the grace to do his will here on earth.

Reflection of the glory of God is not something we can do by ourselves or by our own might. We reflect God’s glory by the help of that spirit that indwells us because we’re washed by his blood.

  • Emeka joy

Living a life that reflects God’s glory is not what we humans can do by ourselves we need the intervention of the holy spirit in us

  • Agbodike Ogochukwu Maryclaret

This is true. We say we love God, we claim to glorify him, but our actions deny him. It’s sad that we are this way.

  • Bessong Faith Ada

Lets not limit our worship with God just in word of moth rather let our actions glorify God and our lifestyle preach the word of God.

  • Ugwu Chiamaka

All we have to do is sincerely give ourselves to Him. Because when God is in Christ and Christ in us, there is no way we will not radiate His glory. Afterall a city set upon a hill can never be hidden. God bless you ma.

  • Paschal Odigonma Victoria

Reflecting the glory of God can be seen as another dimension of evangelism. While Jesus was on earth people still needed to see signs, so that they may believe that Jesus was sent from God. When we reflect the glory of God we become salts on earth and light upon hills. We draw people closer to God and we also glorify God in heaven.

  • Faith ojima

Reflecting God’s glory means we carry his spirit and that means we are born again and live according to his words.
