I hereby share with you the fruit of my musings yesterday. May you be blessed by it in Jesus’ name. And do share to bless others too.
As the rain pelts the earth and darkness descends
The lonely ones sigh and brace for certain insomnia
Counting of roof tiles, watching the gecko slither by
Crickets chirping, owls hooting, wild cats mewing
Strangely, these provide some comfort
But not enough to ease the agony of solitude
“Would that these would come to Me, their Maker
For I am the Friend that sticks closer than a brother!”

Proverbs 18:24 (KJV)
“… there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.”
James 2:23 (KJV)
“… Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.”
