WELCOME TO A NEW WORKING WEEK!

I thank God who protected us over the weekend and brought us into a new working week. You must have some activities lined up for the week. Perhaps, you’ve also made some plans of things you hope to achieve. But have you told God about them? If not, don’t delay to do so.

First of all, ask for His guidance so that you’ll be sure you’ll be pursuing the right things for this time. God needs to be in the saddle to help you know what is right or not and the proper time for that right thing ’cause the Bible says, “There is a time for everything.”

Then commit it all into His hands ’cause He can help you to accomplish much more than you can if you choose to leave Him out. He’s the best partner for your business, job, home life, etc. He can give you insight, strength and other resources you may not have otherwise that could make the difference between a successful week and a so-so one.

The foregoing is based on the assumption that you are a child of God. We were all created by God but we are not under His authority as His children except we take advantage of the way He opened for us through His Son, Jesus Christ. This is how the Bible puts it in John 1:12 (KJV), the reference being to Jesus.

“… as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name”

When you receive Jesus into your heart, you stand a better chance of having fruitful conversations with God. And you can do that right now by praying this prayer:

Dear God, I humbly come to you in repentance and ask that you forgive my sins. I acknowledge that You Sent Jesus to die in my place and accept Him as my Lord and Saviour. I receive the Holy Spirit to be my Teacher and Helper henceforth. Thank you for saving me and making me Your child in Jesus’ name.

If you prayed the prayer above, locate a Bible-believing church where you can learn more about being a child of God. Also, do not neglect to read your Bible and talk with God as often as you can.

I hereby wrap this exhortation up with a blessing.

May the Lord Almighty be with you this week. May He bless you all-round and make your endeavours fruitful in Jesus’ name. Amen.
