“THE LAMB OF GOD WAS SLAIN FOR US!”
‘Twas such a lonely path He trod
Sin’s awful price for us to pay
Conforming to the Father’s word
To save as many as will believe
He overlooked both self and shame
To redeem us from sin and death
The Jews cried, “This man we condemn!”
And He was nailed to Calvary’s cross
The Father’s heart still longs for those
Who will renounce the world and sin
Remembering that one tragic pose:
“The Lamb of God was slain for us!”

Easter season is really a time for reflection, a time for us to reflect if Christ’s death on the cross of Calvary has any impact on our lives. I pray for God’s grace to continue to enable us to remain steadfast and not abuse the love of Christ for us. God bless you, Aunty Edith!
Amen to that prayer! God bless you mightily, Chinwe!
THE LAMB OF GOD WAS SLAIN FOR US is a poem that signifies that Christ died for us, he took that position just to set us free. This poem also signifies the impact of God’s love for us, that he gave his only begotten son got us. He is forever merciful.
Reflection, denouncement and commitment: these are what Easter is all about. Seek the face of the Lord, pray and fast always to overcome every trial and temptation because as Christians, we must face one temptation or the other, but the strength to overcome it despite the circumstance is what makes us true Christians.
You are blessed, Juliet!
Lord Jesus, help us to hold your words in our heart and life, for u overlooked self and shame to redeem us from the world; what a great sacrifice! Your selfless love is what I pray to emulate now and forever. This Easter period is a time of reflection ….
Nice prayer! I say “Amen”. You are cherished, Kemdy. Always remember you’re the apple of God’s eyes.
Easter time is a time to reflect on the unconditional love Christ has for us. He was willing to die so that we may be saved, so that we can experience an unending salvation. He arose so that we may believe in him. The death and resurrection of Christ brought not just salvation but also hope.
Yes, it did. God bless you, Taiye!
The moment we start living with the consciousness of the fact that a life devoid of any sin was slain for our sake then we are going somewhere. I remember asking myself, what would have been the outcome of this world after God’s creation and Adams fall, if Jesus didnt accept to pay the highest price. So I personally believe that not just because we are in the season of remembrance that’s why we should reflect upon our lives, but rather we should always try to make Godly living a part of us. It’s easier said than done a lot will choose to echo but I believe that the moment we key into his Grace which have been made available to us only then can we make a progress towards living the God kind of life.
God bless you, Ukamaka!
He died that we may live, he was wounded for our transgressions his death gave us hope and reason to live…lord give me the grace to know you more and worship you In Spirit and truth…Amen
He died for our sins, he was wounded for our transgressions … his death made us alive. he paid the price that we could not pay with his precious son, Jesus … Jesus, the lamb of God, was slain for us to be victorious… Thank you, Jesus!
Halleluyah!
1Corinthians;15 Vs 58 Urges us to be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the lord knowing that in the Lord, your labour is not in vain. Weeks before Easter is a perfect time to rethink and examine our life. It’s a time when we partake in the suffering of Christ and understand how he has suffered and died and was resurrected by The most high God and is seated at the right hand of God. The Catholic Church uses this period to teach its followers the importance of worshipping God and always abiding by his rules.
Thanks a lot for the scriptural reminder, Vivian! You are splendidly blessed in Jesus’ name.
this is touching MA.
The Lord has actually done us well by dying for our sins. May the good lord enable us to always abstain from sins so as to suffer with Christ and resurect with him on Easter day, and to also love one another unconditionally for Jesus is love in himself.
God bless you highly, Chinaza!
Rejoice…Indeed it is enough that Jesus died and that He died for me.
Kia!! Whenever I think about the pain Christ had to pass through just to redeem man I develop a cold feet.Though he was God he had to let go his majesty and come in the form of man to die such a shameful death, death on the cross just to redeem me from the bondage of sin what more can I give to him than to surrender my heart,my will and life to him…God it’s either you or nothing…… thank you ma for this power packed poem
Nailed in the misery He never deserved
served painfully as He was in a snare
What manner of love is this?
The love of a father, brother and friend.
If only we can tighten up, put pride down and pick the bible up, life will be better for us. I feel so immortal remembering Christ died on the cross for us all. Give everything to him and have all of him back in return. And that’s the only road to everlasting happiness. God bless you aunty Edith.
God’s amazing. Look at the sacrifice which Jesus made for us.it’s overwhelming and when I think about it,about what God has done for us, It brings tears to my eyes. The poem is lovely,ma. Thank you for blessing our soul
Very nice…Keeps taking us back to that time, when God showed us the love above all kinds of love, by allowing his only son to die for us, for the forgiveness of our sins and the redemption of our souls. May God bless and keep us all, espe cially this Easter season, to the glory and praise of his name, Amen.
God is really awesome. He forgot everything and sent His son to die for our sins and yet we condemn Him by going back to our old ways. Sometimes our flaws seem so much we think it’s over but His never ending love reassures us. He’s indeed an amazing God. This poem is very touching, its a reminder that be should always be grateful.
God’s ultimate sacrifice for us: giving his son to save us all. May we always be grateful, by doing what he asks of us. Amen. God bless you, ma.
This poem as was well accompanied with bible verses is a true reflection of what our lord Jesus Christ undergone during his crucifixion at the cross of Calvary. Easter is fast approaching and it is important we note what it is all about. Easter is not the time to eat, drink and move about; It is primarily for sober reflection and change of attitude of lifestyle as well as deeper commitment and seriousness in the things of the spirit, that is, our spiritual life.
“We should always live with the consciousness that Christ laid down His life for us.” this quote is true because when w are always conscious of he that was slain on the cross of Calvary to redeem us of our sins and give us everlasting life we are sure that we will not be in a hurry to forget about the scriptures as well as its teaching.
This is such a nice poem. It has in it the ability to prick our souls for a turn around to Christ. I mostly especially love the last two lines. May God help us to live everyday, remembering that tragic pose of Calvary. More Grace Ma.
We should always have in mind that God laid down his life for us, we should appreciate his love for us and also try as much to reprocate his love by making sure that we are always doing his will so that his sacrifice for us is not in vain
We should try as much as possible to appreciate Gods love for us
there is no other love that transcends this one. thank you father
The love of God is everywhere around us. However, this singular act of coming down as his own sacrifice to be sacrificed to himself is the greatest of all love. If not for anything but, for the fact that he paid for all our sins that we may be spotless and without blemish is enough to prove his unending love.
Short but lovely poem.
A very beautiful and creative piece. Jesus has indeed done a powerful deed by dying on the cross for mankind due to his unconditional love and it is left for one to accept what he has done by accepting him as our lord by faith.
A time for sober reflection to meditate on the love of Christ had for us.May the good lord enable us to always abstain from sins so as to sufferMay the good lord enable us to always abstain from sins so as to suffer with Christ and resurrect with him on the last day, and to also love one another.
God is indeed a kind God Rom :5 -8
The sins of the whole world nailed Jesus to the cross. All mankind are responsible for the crucifixion of our Savior.it was our sins that made him come to the earth to give himself as the greatest sacrifice of all.
Christ was sinless yet he became our sin-bearer, instead of symbolically cleansing us from sin; he removed any obstacle that had caused centuries of estrangement between God and mankind thereby allowing the restoration of fellowship with the father.
This lenten period urges everyone of us to retrace our steps to God Almighty that he will forgive us of all our trespasses and make us new again.
God’s love is the greatest. i have never known of a God that is so caring for his children, despite all he passed through; betrayal from his very own, humilation from the people he loves and cherish, infact what manner of man is this? And yet he still beared the pain for this same people, for me! he did all of this for me. I am forever greatful to God for such agape love display….
Oh how I love the Lord, our merciful father, he had to die on the cross just to save us. Am grateful Lord. Thanks aunty this is a poem that reminds me of the pain and shame Christ went through for me
He made Himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled himself by becoming obedient to death, even death on a cross(Philippians 2:7-8), death could not hold him captive. ma you always give us what is right and fair because you know you have a master in heaven, and you will receive. a your inheritance as your reward in heaven .Thanks ma ,God bless you
Jesus died for us and his death is the reason we live. He did what no one can or will ever successfully do for us and that is paying the ultimate price for our sin on the cross. Thank you lord
He died just to set us free, and here we are misbehaving. Oh lord my God give me the with which to live
He died on the cross just to set us free from sin and here we are misbehaving. Oh! Lord my God give me your grace with which to live amen.
He paid the price to redeem us, despite our sinful nature…The sacrifice most of us cant render he did it for us…lets have this in mind and learn to sacrifice for our loved ones we find around us when necessary..God has done his part, its not left for you to pick up your cross and follow him.
Sacrifice for our loved ones when necessary, God has done his part, its now left for you to pick up your cross and follow him. what an amazing father!
Yes, we need to always acknowledge that the lamp of God was slain for us, live in that consciousness and walk in that light.
He died into the most shameful mannet, that we ma have life in him, in abundance. He satisfied out lonely lives with his love, a love that no man can offer. We should wake up each day knowing Hus love is there for us.
Christ has saved us, we need to know that, appreciate it and live with that knowledge.
Easter is a time for reflection, Christ lay down his life for the redemption of our sins this is God ultimate sacrifice for us
Easter is a time for reflection, Christ lay down his life for us to be saved this was God ‘s ultimate sacrifice for us. We should always be grateful to God. God bless u ma….
He died on the cross for our sins and made us whole. Being conscious of this keeps us holding on to him for he is our only remedy
Lent and Easter season is a time of sober reflection,it reminds us God’s unconditional love to us. This season helps us to reflect on our life , knowing that someone died for our sin. He was nailed on the cross to wipe away
our transgression . This is really the greatest love of all. I pray that God will give us grace to live a life that is worth emulating.God bless you ma.
The lamb of God was slained for us….
In the biblical book of Isaiah the prophet, he prophecied how the son of man will be drained,
But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)
Christ Jesus died for us we have to live in peace with our brethren by loving each other which is the greatest commandment so that we will inherit the price Christ Jesus had paid for us by BEEN WITH HIM IN HEAVEN…. Amen
Our debt, lord you owned and payed, our cross you bore. Lord please help us to remain steadfast to you and not crucify you a second time!
Christ died so we can be redeemed from our sinful ways. Lord give me the grace to stay away from sin and remain with you always. Amen.
I cant deny the fact that i have learnt so many bible verses from this blog, that i use in my day to day life activity, ma, you have lifted my spiritual life, i find it hard to come to your office to say thank you because am this shy type, but want to use this medium to say thank you, please don’t give up especially in teaching relating to Bible because if you do, am afraid i might also give up, I pray the Good Lord you serve will always give you the strength and inspiration to keep changing lives.
Jesus die for us to be saved yet we keep crucifying him over and over again, i plead with you Jesus to give us the stranght to follow you without stumbling Amen.
Thanks a whole lot. By God’s grace, I will not give up. But your faith walk should depend on God, not on any human being. You are richly blessed in Jesus’ name.
Most times, people celebrate Christmas and Easter without understanding the significance of what took place. Christ paid the debt He never owed. He who knew no sin had to take up sin for our sakes. Christians should not turn mute in preaching Christ to unbelievers. we should go ahead to let them know of the sacrifice Christ made.
Easter been a time of reflection, knowing that He died to set us free let us live according to His plans for us. God have mercy on us all
For my sake, he was crucified.. But am always surprise when people find it difficult to appreciate this. . anyway, i pray for the grace to always leave a good life worthy of my christian calling..
There is no love as this. Jesus did not just die to bring us salvation but also to teach us how well and how much should show love to our neighbour. This piece is great for this period of lent and calls for sober reflection. May the Lord help us in our Lenten observance and may it puirify and transform us afterwards In Jesus Name.
Thank you lord for your love and sacrifice. For my sake you were crucified. You died for my sins and i am grateful for your mercy upon my life and the opportunity to experience salvation. Easter is a time for reflection and not just merriments.
He died for us,our transgressions, his death gave us hope and reason to live again. I pray for grace to know you more and worship you in truth. Amen.
Thank you, love, for your sacrifice…mankind would have been condemned to eternal purnishment but for your grace.
Thank you, Lord!
This poem captures so much in three concise stanzas; God sent his only begotten son to die for our sins, to give us everlasting life and save us from the depths of hell. The love of Christ is truely at the heart of redemption.
He z d savior of the world… He died for us so that he can keep us alive n free from sin
Such an interesting piece… Bless u ma
The lamb of God was slain for me. I am grateful for the sacrifice you made to redeem me Lord. Help me, by your grace that I will never separate myself from you again. Increase in my heart, a pure love for you. Amen
He paid the debts i could not pay,,,,,,,
I can’t stop loving him
Thank you aunty Edith
Honestly, our lord’s aim for giving us Jesus would have not been attained without Easter {death and resurrection of Jesus}. There wouldn’t been any message for Christians without the resurrection. so our victory over death and life after death was seen in the celebration of Easter. To Indicate how important, the father allowed his son to die a shameful death for our sake. Do I say, Hebrews should not be condemned again because their actions are for the lords aim to be achieved Thank you lord for giving Jesus for our redemption
The Easter season is just a time to take stock and acknowledge the infallible love of Christ towards mankind which made him to sacrifice himself just to save me and you
Christ has paid the ultimate price for our sins on the cross. The greatest love ever known was made manifest by that act. The question is do we remain in sin or accept the truth of our salvation and act accordingly? The significance of the death of Jesus on the Cross is brought to life by our actions. Why not choose love? ? Happy Easter (in advance), everyone.
He overlooked both self and shame,To redeem us from sin and death,Remembering that one tragic pose: “The Lamb of God was slain for us!” These following lines clearly and emotionally express everything as it happened on the CROSS for my sins. I thank God for such an unalloyed love for me.
His death makes my spine shiver daily when I remember the pain he passed through on the cross all to bring man back to his senses as well as back to God. Am indeed grateful onto him.
God’s love for us is overwhelming!
God help me to love you more nd more!
Thanks for sending your son for my redemption.
Can we for once look into our hrt nd ask ourselves….is there any gift nd love greater than the one our lord Jesus Christ showed us on the cross of Calvary…… Is still touches me that even after all the sufferings he took in for us yet we still do not have remorse……nd it still humbles me that God still loves us even with all our sins……let’s just ask ourselves question…..where will all this sins we are commiting takes us to….it baffles me wen we will just say “let’s just enjoy life now we are still alive” really…u dnt even care to know where ur soul will go after life on earth…. Let’s talk to ourselves, our lord Jesus Christ deserves to be loved the way he loves us,I know living a righteous life is not something we can do only on our own but I believe that asking Gods grace to live it that he will definitely grant it for us……o lord I do appreciate u in my life,I know that I am not living the life u expected from me,I pray u give me the grace to always follow ur path…nd I pray that I never deviate from u no matter the situation…..Amen
The greatest love of all. Thank you, Lord for your sacrifice.#ForeverGrateful.
it is painful to know that even with the fact that christ took our sins, shame, sorrow and every negativity in our lives some people still choose to pierce his heart On daily basis, first by refusing to accept that he went through transgressions for our sake and secondly by making sin a ‘constant K’ in their lives thereby making his sufferings in vain. Even though it is widely known that temptation come on daily basis we should utilize the help of the holyspirit in overcoming the temptation and realizing Gods abundant blessings for us
Gods love is indiputable, giving his only son to redeem us in order for us to have a right standing with him is what has defiled mans understanding. Thank you jesus that i am a partaker of your non perishing love. I live to always love you
God is great and lovely dat he sent his son to die for us sinners .i will serve u forever Lord, tank u aunty ohaja for this inspiration topic
I worship the lamb of God who took away the sins of the world, he died for me & my sins that I may be saved. Glory be to his name.
for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. What a perfect gift you gave to mankind, because you first loved us and we ought to love you more.
Help me lord to continuing loving you. God bless you ma.
Thank you Jesus; I worship your holy name; thank you for dying for my sins; thank you for loving me; thank you,for it’s only through you I’m saved.
this post has a deeper meaning than what many might think. jesus christ death on the cross is a sacrifice that gave us a pathway to heaven, due to jesus death on the cross he removed the sin we were all born with, adams sin of disobedience in eden. jesus Christ did what most men cant, sacrifice himself for all mankind which we should be greatful about.
This is such a lovely poem, its like a reminder of God’s love for his children. The kind one needs to start the day with, to constantly remind you that God is with you.
One thing I am forever remorseful about is the fact that “The Lamb Of God Was Slain For Us”, this I consider to be the ultimate sacrifice there is and ever will be.
God is love, and his love cannot be compared or measured. His love is here to stay, only if we are ready to let it. He sent his only begotten son to die for us and wash our sins away. Thank you Lord Jesus for being a partaker in my life.
God is the definition of love. He sent His only son to die so that He can redeem man back to Himself. He gave it all for humanity sake.
This really touched me bearing in mind that Jesus died for my sake…..he took away our diseases and bore our infirmities…..may the God help to to sin no more, to leave our old sins and become children of God for his sacrifice is immeasurable
For my sake he was crucified, he sacrificed his life to take my sins away. That’s why I will worship and glorify his name till my last breath.
Each time I remember the death of Jesus on the Cross, I feel guilty. He overlooked shame and died for us. Sometimes, I wish I can remain sinless forever and please Him Forever, but frankly it is a bit difficult; you have to be out of this world. Thanks Ma, I am touched.
The greatest love sacrifice ever recorded remains Christ death on the cross for our salvation….may we continue to appreciate this great love by doing all that he wants of us
What a mighty God we serve, we have to all set our mind minds back to what lord has done for us, he was maltreated for our sins, who are we that he did all this for us we owe him our life, lets us surrender ourselves to God and he will see us through at all time. thank you ma
I keep saying it. God is using you as a reminder to us. Maybe to reach out to students and other individuals. It’s heartfelt. Thank you
One thing I am forever remorseful about, is the fact that “The Lamb of God Was Slain For Us”, and this very act, will always remain the ultimate sacrifice there ever was and ever will be.
the bible said that it pleased God to give up His only begotten son for the salvation of all; I just cant understand how deeply He loves us. every time I have to lay down my will and plan for God’s own, I just keep wondering how Jesus did it.
This poem reminds us that as long as we repent, we will be save because God has shed his blood for our salvation already
This poem centres on the death of Jesus Christ, of which purpose was to redeem and save us. Bless the name of the Lord!
This poem tries to assure us of salvation once we repent and return to God. It very nice drawing back our attention to the death of Christ for our salvation
Indeed it was love that took him to the cross and that love awaits many who would come to him. God bless u ma
the love of chirst is something i can not really explain but i know for sure that it is beyond expectation. He is unexplain, even at our evil deeds he still die for us
Easter is a time for sober reflection on the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus and it’s significance .We shouldnt neglect the sacrifices God made for us by sending his son to die on the cross of calvary for our sins. We should be forever grateful!
Jesus Christ died to redeem our soul, he laid down his life on the cross of calvary to ensure we are saved from all form of iniquities. Thank you ma for reminding us that we must acknowledge the love of Christ towards us.
The lamb of God was slain who is Jesus for all human. He gave His life and was able to be crucified not because is our right but because of His love. Jesus does not want any to perish or miss the great inheritance He has prepared for His children. This why He laid His life for our sins on His own accord not because we demanded Him. We should think of this greatest sacrifice of our master and friend ; let Him be sought above other things for great thing He has done for us.
Christ died for our sins and was rose to glory on Easter…the greatest symbol of love.we adore and bless your name Ohhhh Christ. Thank u ma
Thank You Jesus. Your love and sacrifice for this world is incomparable.
Isiah 53;5 “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Easter is a time to celebrate the unending love of God towards humanity. We are eternally grateful
He did it all for us, He left His throne and came to earth all us. Glory to God!
That season is here again, the season of sober reflection, the season to remind us of His love, the love above all other, that He died for our sins so that we may be saved. Thank you ma’am for blessing our souls.
I pray His death for my salvation will not be in vain. Lord help me to always remember that you have already paid for my debt when I am in doubt if you can still forgive my sins no matter how grey they may be.
Lovely poem. Easy to understand. Jesus laid down his life for us. His love unconditional and selfless. May He be praised for ever
May I never forget that lonely walk he took for me; that heavy cross he had to carry; those nails that pierced his body; the imagination of his head wearing a crown of thorns…. May I never forget it was all for me….
The merciful God is so lovely, what he do for us shouldn’t be what we will neglect in our life,at least we should some times meditate on our life existence in the sense of what God has done for us,which no man can be able to do,and i pray the lord will help us always to remember his love for us.
Really ma, God’s love for mankind is something beyond human comprehension. Offering his only son for our ransom is something no father can do. Even Jesus himself proved a great love for us by submitting himself willfully. This is enough reason to make this grace worth it and come unto repentance.
God’s love is just something I can’t really understand, he loves us even when we purposely forsake and sin against him.. He is truly a father. I really felt assured and saved after reading this.. Thanks Aunty for this beautiful piece
The lamb of God who was slain and rose in victory. Easter season is really a time to reflect on our lives to know if we are getting it right and on the right path. We should all try our possible best not to let his death be in waste. God’s love for us is unquantifiable.
Easter is not just for celebrating Christ alone but also to improve ourselves in word of God as Christians and as followers of Christ we need to abide by God, it should in our attitudes and actions towards other.
The death of Christ where to redeem us from our past (sin), It was meant to take us closer to him, spiritual and physical. For is death to be appreciated, we must leave a life that please him, a life that speak about him, a life that reflect that we where bought with a price, which is his death.
Thank you Jesus for paying the price for us. Your death on the cross redeemed us from sin and brought us to life everlasting.
We should also strive to be faithful to Him for He has offered what no man can offer; the gift of salvation
he died for us because he loves us. God is love, and we need to remind ourselves of the sacrifices he made just so that we can be redeemed.
Thanks for putting this up so that we will think back to Gods love for me incase we have forgotten.
CHRIST dying for us on the cross, he did not think of his ego, the fact that our sins are too much, that we will keep living in sin and the fact that by his power he can overcome death, suffering, accusation. NO HE DID NOT. HE was nailed, crucified, judged, insulted, tempted but still HE took all those things for our sake, to sake us from sin and death. GOD IS TOO WONDERFUL.
His death on the cross of Calvary is for our sins. He is the only one that can do that for us, no matter how much our parents and siblings love us, they can not die for us to be saved neither can we do the same to them. God is too Good
Even a million thanks said to God cannot quantify the immeasurable things he has done for us. The beautiful part is that He keeps doing them for us, unhesitatingly. May He be praised forever, Amen!
A times I use to wonder the kind of love God has for me that him gave all he has for me.
Lord please help me to love you the way you want.
Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world have mercy on us, Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world grant us peace. O God am so sorry that I have sin against you and By the help of your grace I will not sin again.
Wonderful piece.
This is a reminder that we should always put God first because he is the author and finisher of our faith,Christ paid the ultimate price for our sins and we should never forget that we are nothing without his love ❤,grace and mercies.
THE CALVARY STORY IS STILL ONE OF MY FAVOURITE. WHEN I WATCHED THE MOVIE : THE PASSION. I COULDNT HELP BUT SHED TEARS AS I IMAGINED JESUS GOING THROUGH THOSE TORTURE SIMPLY BECAUSE HE CONSIDERS ME WORTHY OF BEING SAVED. THANK YOU JESUS FOR MAKING ONUOHA DIANA A REALITY.
praise the almighty God who has decided not to punish mankind forever but given us opportunities to turn back to him. to him be all the glory for evermore. in this period of lent, thank you ma for directing our mind to the right place.
unto God shall the offering and praise of his people be for ever more, amen. jesus who died for me, i shall bless you with all my life and all my energy. your praise shall constantly be in my mouth. i love you jesus now and forever. this message is for everybody for all has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. forgive us dear lord, we pray.
he was scourged for my sins, he suffered for me. O lord, may your praise continually be in my mouth, may I sing and rejoice in the house of the lord.
Christ died so that we can be saved and be redeemed from our sins and that is something we should be conscious of. I would forever be grateful and I will exalt his name all through my life. thank you ma for helping us have that consciousness that Christ died for us. thumbs up ma for sharing the word
behold the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world JOHN1:29
The Lamb of God which was slain for us brought lots of benefits and promises. It brought us salvation, grace, a right standing with God, joy, right to call on God’s name when in any situation, access to God’s kingdom and lots of other blessings. When we reflect on this great and sacrifice made on our behalf, it helps us in understanding the depth of Christ’s love for us and gives us that strength to live a righteous and holy life.
The Season of Easter is a season of reflection. We are to ask ourselves if christ died all for nothing and if the ways we follow are for christ. This poem is just an eye-opener to what happened to him for us to gain our freedom from the sin. We shouldnt be washed by the vanities of the world forgetting our sole purpose on earth. Thank you MA, for this reminder.
That is the main reason why Jesus came down from heaven to save us from our sins. The universal churches use the Easter periods to remind us of this.If the angels and beasts and other creatures can testify that “worthy is the lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honour and glory and blessing”. How then do we created in his own image adorn Him.
I love that man called Jesus, He has done so much for me, He forgave me all my sins and sent the Holy ghost to keep me from doing wrong!!!Hallelujah.
The Easter moments has called for deep reflection on the reasons of the death of Christ. His love for us is so great that he denied himself, for our redemption.
Thanks ma, for this opportunity for great reflection.
Having being overwhelmed by the memory of the vicarious death of Christ, for what would have been my lot He suffered. I, therefore wish to say, thank you Jesus! Jesus had chosen to die in propitiation for our sins. He died for our sake so that we may live and not die in our sins.
True, jesus christ is the lamb that was slain for our sins,he did this without regret bearing the shame and pain,it’s very touching when i begin to think of all this and yet it seems the world has forgotten the price he paid.
He died for our sake, he accepts shame for our sake.
Yet this world despise him, the world is busy yearning for irrelevant things forgetting the price he paid for us..
Thank you Jesus for dying for my Sin.
I’m sorry for ever offending you.
this biblical poem indeed point’s to us , to know that God really loves us by sending his only begotten so son Jesus to die for us redemption. what an awesome love,
God is truly the lamb.. .We are so lucky to have him as our father. ..father give me more grace to love you more and more ?
No other love seems to be greater than the love of christ jesus. He layed down his life so that we can be saved im grateful lord.
You know most times we forget what God has done for us and we behave anyhow, thank you ma for this reminder, i pray that i never forget God’s sacrifice for me, i pray that i walk in his goodness and blessings, may i walk with the love for christ, may i serve and worship him in faith kindness and humility
I know we all knows that jesus died for our sins..he sufferrd for us..
The question is deep down you have you accepted jesus as a saviour..
So many of us knows but don’t practice..
Mercy was shown on us and the lamb of God was slain to washed away our sins, we must not forget this, and so learn to live the way we are expected
Jesus is the lamb who take away the sins of the world. He has passion, pity, mercy and always a forgive God. There is no one like him that’s why he died on cross to pay for our sins. Thanks for reminding us so that we will beg him for his blessing, mercy, anointing and for the continuity of life and
mending and shaping of our ways and otherwise. God bless you MA for sharing this article for us.
Halleluyah!
Jesus reigns.
He died for our sins.
God loved us and he sent his son to save us
The wages of sin was paid by Jesus who died for our sins and now we rejoice because we have forgiveness of sins and righteousness by faith in Christ.
We are new creations, born of God and we are born again and have eternal life.
Yeah, the lamb of Jehovah that washes away our sin is Jesus Christ.
But, it doesn’t mean we’re absolved of all sins and can no longer sin but it means that when we sin we have Jesus to intercede for us.
Easter season is a time of reflection, denouncement, and commitment. A time to remember what our Lord Jesus Christ has gone through in other for him to save us all. The death of our lord Jesus Christ and his resurrection has brought for us not just salvation but also hope.
There is indeed no greater sacrifice and no greater expression of love than this. By dying he destroyed our death and by rising he restored our life. When man sinned against God, he forfeited the glory of God. The glory of God which man had forfeited has now been restored to him because Jesus has come. When He died on the cross, He took our shame, gave us His righteousness and restored the glory of God to us.
the scripture says, the Heaven was silence when God Almighty said, who will i send? who will go and save the World. the Lamb of God (JESUS),replied, here i am! send me. this passage amazed me because upon thousands and millions of Angels in Heaven, the only Son of God accepted to sacrificed himself in other to save mankind.
therefore, because of reason above, God Almighty chooses to lift his Name above others Names,so that, who called on his Name his favour must be granted to him through Faith.
Amazing is the love of the father for His children that He sent His only son to die for us. I carry that consciousness everywhere.- The lamb of God was slain for us!
Whenever I think of the love and grace God hss granted us, I feel this happiness in me because nobody’s love is greater than God’s love. Glory be to God. AMEN!!
Easther is a time for us as christians to remember the death of divinity on the cross of calvary . a time to reflect and be sober . though we were not there we remember how he died and on the third day rose again to life to the glory of God.
The Lamb of God was indeed slain for us and for the remission of sin. We christians are reminded of this great sacrifice in the period of lent. Falling prey to sin is like crucifying him all over again. Your poem brings this to mind, aunty. It’s a heart-moving poem, really
The death of Christ where to redeem us from our past sin, it was mearnt to take us closer to him spiritual and physical. For is death to be appreciated, we must live a life that pleases him
Whenever I watch movies like “The Agony of Jesus”, I can’t help but imagine the pain He felt, the humiliation, the flogging, the thorns, the nails…. It was just awful. Then its just sad to see that a lot hasn’t changed on the part of Christians. After the sacrifice, some people still don’t find it worthy to appreciate the father who let his son die for mankind.
His love is unfailing. Glory to His name
According to Isaiah 9 vs 6…For us a child is born, to us a son is given, and government shall be upon is shoulder, and his name shall be called wonderful counselor, mighty GOD everlasting father of eternity, prince of of peace. CHRIST was slain for us so we should open the door of our heart when he knocks.
We should know that Christ Jesus died for our sins that we may be set free, I pray that he would give us the strength to overcome sin.
Easter is always by Christians as a time when God’s love was shown. He died for us so we can have an everlasting life. It is a time to reflect, be sober and to free ourselves from any iniquity.. God’s mercy had indeed kept us and we must acknowledge that fact and be grateful.
The death of Christ is for our redemption. However we can only partake in this redemption only if we accept him as our personal Lord and saviour.we Christians should retrace our steps.
Okechukwu Timothy chima,
Jesus offered himself up for us,something I don’t think anyone would do.that is enough reason for us to renounce our sins.
HE in his glory, became lamb to be slain.
Willingly he gave himself, so we would gain an everlasting dwelling with Yahweh. Slain for our gain. Hallelujah.
Its a privileged knowing he was slain for me to have eternal life seated in his bossom. Thank God for his son.
The death of Christ on Calvary’s tree for us is the supreme sacrifice of all time. We often forget the love and plan of God for us and how sin takes us away from his original plan for us that we immense ourselves in sin and vanities of the world at the expense of our faith…. May the love the father and Son has for us restore us to the original plan and help us to live a life pleasing to them in Jesus name……
Am inspired. My lord, am very sorry for the pains that l have caused you. I know that you went through all these because of my sins.l pray that you teach me how to deny ungodly and worldly things so that I can live a righteous life for you (God) May God help me.
Christ death brought us peace. He died so we can live. He suffered so we can enjoy.leaving with these consciousness ought to have a positive impact in our life’s.He paid a price which no one could pay.i pray earnestly for the grace to live a life that will have positive impact on people around me.
If we are being judged by our sins, I believe that no one is worthy to obtain God’s mercy and love. Indeed, God’s love is unconditional. Dear Lord, I acknowledge that am a sinner, therefore, I plead for your mercy upon my life and also give me that grace to serve you all the days of my life.
Jesus died for a course, which is to redeem us from our sins, the part that got me in this Post is “He overlooked both self and shame,To redeem us from sin and death, The Jews cried, “This man we condemn!”, And He was nailed to Calvary’s cross” well stated ma, and wonderful post.
Jesus Christ the son of God came down to this world to die for our sins. We should always try and live a life that will please him. We thank you Lord for this sacrifice you made for us.
Beautiful piece ma, we should always live with the consciousness that Christ laid down His life for us. Thank you son of God for during for us. God bless you ma for this bible verse. It has elevated my spirit
No love can be compared with this, that God gave his only son to become a source of salvation for mankind. Merciful and meek Jesus, always make me realise at all times that you paid the debt for me and for that I should always reflect or meditate on that sacrifice you made for me and always hunger and thirst for appreciation of what you have done for me. Help us to always abstain from sin and imitate your humility.
Thank you for the redemption of our sins. Thank you for dying for us. Thank you for buying us over with your blood.
I love you Lord.
God bless you ma for this write up
I think Oluoma was right when she saisld thatvshe was leaving if Ola was tobavoid stories that touch the heart because ,men or human beings cannot be trusted. I think Olouma made this statement vtobprevent future quarrel that mightbhappen if she continues staying alone with Ola’s husband.
Very good piece ma
Christ died so that i can live, he purged away my sins am redeemed because of his death at calvary. Therefore the life i live should be a reflection of Christ living in me. Am inspired by this poem my yaweh lives in me
Christ died so that man could be redeemed from his sinful ways, he died so that salvation could be rendered to those that seek, he died so that we all could be saved and have everlasting life, indeed christ is great.
I pray to work in his ways and uphold righteousness so that his suffering and death will not be in vain .
He died to make us whole, may the blood which he shed on the cross for our sins bring us eternal life in him. Amen.
God bless you ma for this nice post.
Jesus paid it all on the cross
He came down from heaven to the earth to set us free.
He bore our sins in the cross of calvary
Jesus I love you the most.
I believe that Christ died for our sins so we should open our hearts and let him in ,and also acknowledge his presence in our lives.
It is important that as christians, we ponder daily upon the death of Christ on the cross for us and its significance. In this way, we would adopt a new and resolute approach towards life, as we wouldnt want to make the redemptory purpose of Christ’s death seem abortive.
Christ’s death offered us liberation from the shackles of the enemy. His death was simply an undeserved favour. man was way down in the pit of sin, his death and resurrection liberated us.
One cant but imagne how the life of man on earth would have beenn soo misreable an unfulfiling, if not that Christ’s death brought in light into the world, discarding off the darkness inherent, man would have still been under total control of the devil and his cohorts.
Jesus was slain for the sins of the whole world. He paid a great price for us with his life so that we may be forgiven of our sins. I thank you Lord for all that you have done for us.
May the realization that Christ lived a glorious life devoid of sins continue to pave the way to salvation for us, that we live the true meaning of Christianity as Christians that would in no way compromise our faith in Him through mundane indulgences
Easter period is a time of reflection. We reflect by thinking if the death of Christ Jesus has any impact in our lives. We always have to hold onto God’s word, always have to reflect both in times of Easter or not.
I pray for the Grace of God in our lives so we won’t go astray from his word and be steadfast
Renouncing sin is a sign of true Christian faith. As the Father sent him for our sake, so is he (the son), sending us to do good to others just like he did for on the cross of calvary. It’s a love that is meant to go round.
with the thought of the pain to be felt, he endured it just to set us free from sins. there is no other sacrifice that it is greater than the death of Christ in this life, its now left for us to follow His pathways and to make sure that his sacrifice is not in vain.
Jesus the son of God died for our sins,he was crucified on the cross of Calvary that we all may have life in abundance,he said thus”it is finished” most times,we fail to understand the impact and importance of this precious life laid for our sins.for the fact that Jesus died for us,we are free from every York and bondage of the evil one.It is now left for us to abide in him.
The blood of Jesus is the answer which has provided for us redemption, every need and provision. The knowledge of this alone, when received into our hearts can cause us to walk in the abundance of riches that Christs death has made available to us.
The greatest sacrifice ever was God sending His only begotten son to die for us. Lord I know no amount of thansgiving is enough but still thank YOU so so every much for dying for us.
Jesus was slain for us on the cross of Calvary for the sin he never committed, but he lain his life down that we may be saved and have direct access to God, to communicate with him and express our love for him. It’s a period to reflect on how lifestyle; Are we living a life that will glorify the name of the Lord, if we’re not we should retrace our footstep and go back to Christ and plead for his mercy.
Indeed he overlooked both self and shame to save us from sin and death. He carried a cross so heavy just for our sake. His love is ever unending and his mercies endures forever. This is very touching. He died for us to believe in him.
Christ paid the price that we may be free. He died that we may have life. He died for the attornment of our sins.As Christians,we are expected to live our Life’s according to the principles and doctrines of christ. These is one of the major reason he died for our sake.i pray that the grace to live right will bestowed upon us.
The lamb of God was slain for my redemption from iniquity. This made it possible for us to be called out of darkness into His marvelous light. All it demands from us is to go back to the cross, be sober and be in His righteousness. Bless u ma.
Which other sacrifice can be greater than what He did for us. He expects us to reflect on our lives and also denounce the plan of the devil on our life.
The Lamb of God who was slain for us. If only we could set our hearts on Him, the one who was rejected for our sake. The one who sacrificed Himself for our sake. Then the Father will be most pleased. He will be pleased if we denounce the distractions of the world to give Him all. It is not up to the price He paid. Nice one, Ma.
Christ died for us to redeem us from sin,he died for us to live. Oh what a merciful lord he is.
The second stanza said that he overlooked both self and shame to redeem us from sin and death.
Nice one.
for God so love the world that he gave his only beggotten son.His ultimte love for us cannot be measured but is quite unfortunate that many persons refuse to painstake to this fact. Many crucify our lord jesus christ daily by engaging in elicit sex, robbery and others sinful act..what shall it profit a man to loose the eternal life after his stay on earth, live according to God’s will so that after everything all of us will gather at the right hand of our creator..
Jesus bearded the brunt of our iniquities without complaint, therefore we must ensure that this sacrifice made was not a waste by emulating His lifestyle and living a life pleasing to God.
Gods love is over whelming, to know that he laid down his son for my sake gives me an assurance that, theres nothing he wont give for my sake. God is the perfect example of what love is all about, – sacrifice.
For my sake, He died the most shameful death. He died that I might live. Glory to Jesus. Lord pls give me the grace to live a holy life and a life worthy of emulation.
The lamb of God was indeed slain for us..God gave his son up for us to be saved from eternal damnation but when we live our lives anyhow we are only showing by our lifestyles that we do not acknowledge God’s love for us…God bless you ma, nice poem
Jesus, the lamb of God was slain for us. He died to save us from sins. He died to save as many as will believe in his Father’s word.
He overlooked both self and shame just to redeem us from sins. He died, that we may live. Thanks Lord for your sacrifice and love.
Easter period remains reflection period.a time when love proved to be the greatest weapon.the love.of God proved a powerful tool in our redemption which is symbolized by Christ’s death on the cross. He died that we might be renewed in Christ and may live.He died that our sins might be forgiven.we need to start acknowledging that love by understanding the essence of service to him.our actions will prove if we do that or not.Thank you ma for this poem..
Christ gave his life as a ransom for many
He came to call sinners to repentance
He came to give enternal life, to those who believe in him
His death is an all-sufficient price which the only way to pay back is by denouncing all worldly actions and accept him as our personal lord and saviour
God bless you ma
It all revolves around easter, Jesus died for our sins, Jesus had paid the price, Jesus has settled all controversies and disputes, Jesus has made us not only winners but free from the shackles of sin.
Lord, i don’t want to to be page of those that makes your sacrifice on the cross of Calvary vain. Give me the zeal and grace to serve you more.
Christ died for the sins of the whole world. We get saved when we believe in his death, burial and resurrection.John 3:1-17 explains that salvation through faith in Christ Jesus is believing in what Christ has done for us .I believe ,I am saved.
According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through his death and resurrection, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. And the only way we can show that we appreciate this is by obeying his word. Very touching and interesting piece ma
God gave his only son as an atonement for sin. Christmas was crucified for our sake. The least expected from us is to acknowledge this sacrifice and renounce sin.
Whenever I read scriptures like this, I have goosebumps, I am always filled with a mourning spirit.
Thank you Lord for your unending mercies in my life, I am grateful.
The idea of Christ, was for humanity to know an unending love by laying in the bosom of anguish and torture. Since this is the case, it is important that we give in our best in the pursuit of our eternal happiness just as we would always want to in becoming a first class material in our academic pursuits
I feel touched by these scriptures. Thank you, Aunty Edith. God is really using you to touch young souls. God bless you!
How beautiful it is when i remember someone gave himself up for me.
It wasnt easy, but it was worth it.
The lamb would forever be the cup that wont run dry.
I do hope this post sows a seed in many souls, that there would be an illumination in our hearts and Jesus would be worshipped forever.
This was a reflection and unforgettable suffering, humiliation about our Lord Jesus Christ for his redemption upon our lives. we received righteousness through him. He sacrificed his life for our sake just for us to have life. I will remain grateful to you.
I’m part of the reasons why the lamb of God was slained and as such, I’m required to live above sin. But now… How sinful am I? Oh God! Please save me less I perish
Whenever I watched the video of passion of Christ I cried because I saw how Christ suffered because of my sins and yet he still forgives my sins. I will always love GOD
I like this poem because it reminds us of how Christ suffered and died on the cross for us in order to redeem our sins. That period marks the passion of Christ which is celebrated every Easter
Out of the love Jesus had for us, he died to redeem the world. not everyone would do as Jesus did. May his name be magnified throughout all ages
Christ suffered the shame and pain for you and i, he took our place and paid the debt we could never pay, then ask for ntin frm us bt just our heart which is nt too much, bt then we still find it hard to recompense the good he did for us . bt then the world today decide to perish eternally than take Jesus
Christ paid the ultimate price. He bought us with His precious blood that we might be saved. But we crucify him again every minute through our actions. Lord have mercy.Niz one ma
Easter is indeed a moment of reflection, when we take stock of our life and the moment we start living with the consciousness of the fact that a life devoid of any sin was slain for our sake then we are going somewhere.
This poem remind me of how the only begotten son of God was humiliated,, suffered and died on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins and our salvation….. Is our actions showing we appreciate his sacrifice for us?…. Do we really value his suffering for us? For us to achieve dz,. We need to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and personal saviour… Ask for his grace to do his will….
None of us is qualified to come before God except by the blood. The blood of Jesus gives us access to the throne of God where we obtain mercy and find grace to help in the time of need. Hebrews 4:16. We have unlimited access to God in prayer through the blood of Jesus. Hebrews 10:19-22.
Because we have covenant with God sealed with the blood of Jesus, which gives us access to the eternal inheritance in Christ. The price was fully paid for by the Lord with His blood.
The only way to pay back for this sacrifice is by returning to him and acknowledging him as our Lord and personal savior.
There is nothing satan, sin or sickness can bring that the blood has not already made provision for. Our redemption is in the blood of the lamb that was slain. And you know what? Not even satan understood the redemptive power in the blood until after the death and resurrection of Jesus.
Jesus Christ came to this world against all odds, this is because He as God left the worship of the angels, the 24 elders and the four beasts and all the host of heaven and came down to this earthly night. This is a confirmation of God’s love in John 3:16.
That was not all, what He passed through even from the time of His trial to His crucifixion was not a child’s play. He suffered and bled and died…
God’s injunction for us to accept the death of His Son is not to be played with. There is a great danger for rejecting Him…
Thank you so much ma for this post, this is really a reminder.
Christ’s death on the cross is for the salvation of our souls.it is a constant reminder of the need to live holy and righteous lives so that his death will not be in vain
Though the sins are like scarlet, once you accept Jesus as your Lord and personal saviour, then your sin shall be as white as snow.
The lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world have mercy upon us!!!. Most people don’t know what God has really done for us. They go on doing awful things. I pray that our merciful Father will save us from temptation so that at last we all will make heaven. Father save thy people.??
It’s something priceless, he died for mankind so that we may have life and have it abundantly. His unconditional love is for everyone that forsakes evils for good……it’s such a motivational poem ,always remembering me on how to stay on the path always.
The death of Christ on Calvary brought salvation to us through the blood of sanctification. He paid a ransom which nobody can do.He said,’the old has gone and the new has began’.
The death of Christ on Calvary brought salvation to us through the blood of sanctification. He paid a ransom which nobody can do.He said,’the old has gone and the new has begone’,.Liberating us from all forces of darkness, thank you Jesus.
2 Corinthians 5:21. He was made sin Him who had who had no sin. For our sake God made him share in our sin in order that in union with Christ we might share the righteousness of God. God loved us so much that He had to sent His Son for our sake. The sacrifice on the cross is an exchange because Christ was given in exchange for us. The scripture said “While we where yet sinners Christ loved us” So God is ever ready with arms open wide to receive anyone who comes to Him.
No other foundation can a man lay except that which have been laid which is christ Jesus. This is the only sacrifice that is pleasing to God.Amen
The Lamb was slain for us, all he is waiting for is for us to come back to him, with a heart full of repentance.
God’s love for us is evalasting.
In memory of the man who paid the ultimate price for our salvation. This is a memoir that every Christian should eternally read and cling to
A lovely poem that remind us of the love of the father and how he gave his only son to die for our sins and transgressions. Glory be to God.
for the fact that Christ died for us is enough reason to turn from our evil ways, but many people keep dwelling in sin, thereby crucifying him over again. I would urge every one of us reading this post to at least try considering his death for us and try to live a good life. For the benefit of making heaven and also for the betterment of our nation.
Father, thank you for sending your only begotten son to die for my sins, for I know it was because of me that he was slain at Calvary. And deliever me from any of my efforts to slay him again.
Tho this comment may be coming late, But the lamb of God that was slain just for the redemption of our soul. May that blood guide us through out our lives.
God sent his son jesus to come in the form of man to earth and dwell with us so that at the appropriate time he would die for our sins so that we may have enternal life.
God sent his son to die for our sins hence all those who believe in him are safe.lets not take the ultimate sacrifice of God for granted because we can not get to the father except through the son.
The love of God is eminent in our life that is why he sent his son Jesus to die for us.We pray that his grace remain sufficient in our lives
Though we are unworthy, Christ is the greatest gift to humanity. God’s love is ultimate, its not easy to give up one’s only son, worse still for an ungrateful world like ours.
Jesus died that we may live and be washed of all transgressions. May the good Lord give us grace to abstain from sins. Amen
It is so unfortunate that we leave in a generation that wants to take Christ back to the cross a second time, but it is a good thing that his grace has been made possible for us, his love and kindness showered on us like the rain…
When christ died,he died for our sins.So we should endeavour to desist from all sins. That he already shed his blood should be enough for us to get rid of all our sinful acts and try as much as possible to emulate him.
He paid an fathomable price for us..imagine ‘one without sin was made sin’ just that the sinful nature of man may be washed…The lamb which was made to adore; was criticized and crucified with thieves. This poem really got me ?.. Let us return to the knowledge of He that made this huge sacrifice and sin no more!
The sacrifice Christ made for us on the cross is such a huge one but we tend to throw it away like a piece of trash, but we humans have to come back to His throne of grace and ask for mercy.
Easter’s impact in our lives cannot be overemphasized, the Lord Jesus Christ died over looked shame, took a lot of pain ,died for our sins. He died that my soul may be saved. Lord help me nor to disappoint you Amen
Christ died for us, he bore shame for us, and still, we keep sinning. May the good lord pardon us and give us the grace to renounce our sins and turn to him
Thank you ma for this piece. Jesus Christ died for us because of the love he had for us even when we where yet sinners.. What an awesome poem
Our lord Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross for our sins. He is our savour and through his death we now have direct access to God’s the father in prayer
Beautiful!, the death of Christ has reconciled us to our father, as we can now call him Abba father and also we can call on him anytime and he will answer us just as he promised us in Jeremiah 33: 3
Jesus died so that we may live, he was slain so that we might be redeemed. He paid the biggest price by dying for us. May the good lord enable us to always abstain from sins so as not to crucify him the second time b/c whenever we sin, we crucify Jesus again.
His love is selfless and steadfast,God give me the grace to love you more….
sweet Jesus, who left his throne for me. His blood speaketh better things than the blood of Abel. That price he paid for me, I still cherish till today.
This poem actually touched my heart, the love of Christ for us is indescribable. When all hope seems lost for me i always remember that someone laid down his life on the cross for me and i have reasons to keep moving. Nice one ma’am
He has an unconditional love for us. He is a merciful father and I will continously cherish him
Lord, i love you so much for you first love me by sending your only begotten son Jesus to die on the cross of calvary for my salvation.
Lord Am not worthy to receive you but only say a word and I shall be healed.. Thank you Jesus
God’s love is ever abounding and that is why he paid the price for our souls salvation
Jesus Christ paid the utmost price for our salvation… I am very grateful
GOD sent his only son to come for the sinners and no the just. He was humble enough to die on the cross for us.
We should as Christians, always bear in mind that Jesus laid His life for our redemption and as such,we should acknowledge this goodness of the Lord upon our life and leave by His will by renouncing our evil deeds and obeying His commandments
Jesus was sent in the world not to condemn man but to save him.He was crucified because of our sins so that we might be save. Therefore, we human being suppose to acknowledge the great thing Jesus has done for us.
Oh God’s love is just amazing, I feel so joyous when I remember all the things he went through just because of the love he has for us. Am forever grateful to Jesus, the lamb that was slain for my sake. That has created a portal where I can talk to the father directly
Jesus Christ came that we may have life and have it abundantly John 10:10 b. He came to salvage man from the bondage of sin by leaving His heavenly throne. His love for mankind is incomparable that in John 3:16 made it is clear that God is love, yet we are still swimming in the oceans of iniquity. Thank you Jesus Christ for your death on Calvary for my sake. If I remember your death on Calvary for my sake, I feel at peace because you died that I shall live, you became man that I shall become God, you became a curse that I shall become a blessing. Thank you Jesus and thank you ma for this marvellous quote. God bless you.
Indeed, he died to redeem us from our sins….His paid the ransom for us… Therefore, in anything we do we should acknowledge that fact and remember that he is up there watching us …..
Jesus Christ came that we may have life and have it in abundance (John 10:10b). He came to salvage man from the bondage of sin by leaving His heavenly throne. His love for mankind is incomparable that in John 3:16 made it clear that God is love, yet we are still swimming in the oceans of iniquities. Thank you Rabbi for your death on Calvary for my sake. If I remember your death, I feel at peace because you died so that I will live, you became a curse that I shall become a blessing. Thank you Jesus and thank you Aunty Edith for this marvellous quote. God bless you.
Easter signifies a lot life of a christian it signifies life and also signifies death every christian must remember this day in order to progress.
this day must be remembered for a christian because this was the period jesus christ died for us on the cross of calvary and then he resurrected on the third day wiping away our sins and given us eternal life not because of our work of faith but by his love. And by the grace of our lord and savior jesus christ our sins were wiped away and we have been given the ability to live long.
The death of jesus christ also connected us with god the father. And now we fully benefit from his love.

The cross our symbol of salvation… His death the best gift ever given. His resurrection our hope of a life to come.
Hmmm….Excess love. The love of God is ultimate. We should try to live just and righteous life so that the death of Jesus will not be compromised.
A sinless man came down on earth and died for some one like me what a matchless love and am grateful jesus for your death which has given us salvation.
God unfailing love and care is quite commendable and we should endeavor to show that to our Friends and live our lives according to the dictate of God because he beaten for our sake
Truly, He was slain and died so we will live (redemption); He was blamed so we will be blameless. I believe that through this post, we will be reminded of God’s agape love towards us “that He gave His only begotten son, so that whoever believe in Him shall not perish, but have eternal live (just as He promised in His word; JOHN 3 Vs 16)”… I love this particular quotation, “worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.” Awesome graphics ma, the Jesus Christ on the cross is truly our symbol of redemption. And may our Lord empower you as you aid in waxing His ministry stronger.
Behold the manner of love the father has given unto us ,that we should be called the sons of God.This is the greatest love of all that a friend should lay down his life for a friend. To who much is given ,much is expected.we should strive to live in accordance to his dictates.
Everyday is a day of sober reflection on Christ love for me and easter being a day set aside for him is a remarkable one for me . Christ love for humanity is endless. Thank you ma

Christ paid it all.he laid it at the cross of calvary.what would i have done, what would you have done.humanity was on the brink of extinction but he gave all that you and i be said he is jehovah yahweh, elohim. may his name be praise.
His grace has appeared that men may receive great salvation, Jesus Christ died for us because of the love he had for us even when we where yet sinners.a poem which touch the soul.
For we all have sinned and are at the receiving end of his tender mercies and his undying love for man. We should strive never to nail him again by committing the same sin for which he suffered and gave his life.
He gave his life, he gave his all that we might be saved from damnation.no man can ever replicate the action.if his love was genuine we would have been in the lake that burneth with brimstone but halleluyah.he saved us.
The lamb of God that was slain for all humanity.without him I wouldn’t have existed.the love which set chain loose, the love will makes the principal of the cities(principalities) trembles.no greater lord and master will I follow if not him.
The lord is awesome the lord is magnificient and able to heal.he has paid the final price that we all might be saved from the clutch and tyranny of satan.thank you lord.
I never knew what life could be without his saving grace.his grace is sufficient for all humanity but it is not a prerequisite that we may continue to sin. God forbid.he had dominated the heaven and the earth and everything crumble at his feet.what great power I would serve and follow till we see one day.
Jesus was poor for us to be rich
He died on the cross of the calvary for us to have eternal life. His death washed away our sins.
Jesus has paid it all for us to live a life without sins.
He is a master planner. Jesus Christ is the Messiah of the world

The greatest gift God gave to us was for Christ to die to save us from our sins. And we are all expected to worship him from the depths of our heart!
The love of Jesus is so usually, reckless because he doesn’t think of himself . He is wonderful.

He overlooked both self and shame to reconcile us with God. He offered himself as a sacrifice to redeem us from sin and death.
Jesus death on the cross is a sign of God’s love for us. His love for us is above any other love.
Most of us wouldn’t sacrifice ourselves talk more of a son or daughter. This shows the undying love our lord Jesus Christ have for us.
For our sake He was crucified, He went through this pains and suffering all for us. I pray we never forget His love for us.
The lamb of God was slain for mankind to free man from the shackles of sin, it’s a blessing to come to the understanding. I usually get overwhelmed with the feeling that comes with it.
May we always remember this sacrifice Jesus made for us.
Nothing last forever, let us all change from our old ways of life to a new way of Life
This poem captured my heart immensely,as it talks about how Jesus overlooked both self and shame to redeem us all from sin and death. This poem is quite emotional as it shows us how Jesus was slain for me and you ” Worthy is the lamb that was slain to receive power, riches and wisdom and strength and honour and glory and blessing.
a) I learnt that in all we do we should never forget to acknowledge our maker who redeemed us from sin. ” Who gave himself for us ,that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purity into himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” Titus 2:11
b). I also learnt that Jesus’s heart still longs for those who will renounce the world and sin ,seek the face of the lord ,pray and fast to always overcome sin.
