Intro:
Welcome to the new year once again! We have a God who loves and watches over us. He doesn’t check in on us occasionally, He sees us all the time within and without. What can be more comforting than that!

Where shall I go from Your spirit? Where shall I flee from Your presence? - Psalm 139:7 Click To TweetEl Roi, I Know That You See Me
It was Hagar who first gave You this profound name
Alone in the wilderness You found her
But You were not there to strike or lay blame
El Roi, You comforted her affliction
Sometimes I cannot share my tribulations
I feel that people may not understand me
But You speak Your peace to my apprehensions
El Roi, You satisfy my deepest needs
?
(Related: I will never leave you nor forsake you)
?
And each day as I struggle to make sense
Of issues that harbour contradictions
I pray to view them through Your holy lens
For El Roi, You are the omniscient God
I am strengthened like Hagar, the poor maid
Though temptations and trials beset me
My confidence even before I seek aid
Is El Roi, I know that You see me
