  • Amaugo SteohaniS Chidinma

Wow! Thank you for sharing these food for thought. I like all of them. Surprisingly, my best quotes there are, “do good everywhere” and “pursue your purpose and be at your constant best”. Thank you for sharing, Ma

    • Edith Ohaja

I love those ones too. Have a wonderful week, Stephanie!

    • IBEH CHIAMAKA JENNIFER

Opening up to people or sharing your problems with them is very important because it helps to less the burden you are carrying. They could have the solution to your problem or could be able to help you in one way or the other. It’s better than falling into a state of depression and lastly, do not ever let someone define whom you are. It could also lead to low self esteem.

  • Theresa G Solet

    Great words of encouragement

  • Jibulu Ngozi

  • egbo Rita Somtochukwu

Such motivational quotes, Ma. Loved the part you said ‘dont let anyone tell you you’re not good enough, cause you’re fearfully and wonderfully made… Some years back I had that thought that I wasn’t good enough, buh after hearing this same word, there was this courage that came immediately.. I knew I was uniquely made to achieve a special purpose…
Thank you, Ma, and may God bless and use you to reach lost souls. Amen!!!!

  • Eze chinyere

I was very inspired and learned a lot too. The quotes are very nice Ma’am. I especially love the quote which explained joy as a state of mind, and not an activity or possession.

  • Kat

Beautiful quotes ma’am. They have truth in them. I particularly love number 6 because i understand how one may think one has it bad before being confronted with the reality that others may have it worse.I’ve learned to be thankful for what i have. Wonderful post aunty edith#smiles#

    • Edith Ohaja

Yes, my dear, we just need to keep thanking God for what we have and He will provide what we don’t have in due season. He is a faithful God. May that faithfulness be your portion this new month and always in Jesus’ name.

  • Chisom nwalutum

    Nice quotes ma
    Especially number twelve

  • Ozukwe Mirian chisom

Thanks ma’am for this nice post. I really love number 2 because it had made me gain more confidence is my self. I won’t act or do things to impress others again. I just love and admire u my mummy, my mentor, my able lecturer and an inspiration to all and sundry.

  • Epuechi Chinwendu Almira

Beauty is more than skin deep when gorgeousness is matched with virtousness
This Quote taught me that beauty is not all about physical attributes but more of what is inside the person
Very educative quote and it leaves a lot to think about

  • Andeshi Moniica

wherever you find youself, valley or mountain top, be thankful and make the most of it: this is a very a very powerful post, i have come to understand that thanksgiving to God leads to open doors and even more blessings. A person who is appreciated does even more likewise our heavenly father.

  • Ibe favour kalu

I love No5″ Do not prey on others or you will likely become a prey yourself in future”. Thank you ma’am. I’m blessed by this quotes.

  • “I am fearfully and wonderfully made”do you know how good it feels to know about this?that someone fearfully made you and brought you into existence .

  • Michael onyedinma

So uplifting,I hope we actually learn from all these quotes, especially No.8″ be as willing to take advice as you are to give it” this quote contains within it the virtue of humility.

  • Sunday, Ezekwesiri Daniel

The wisdom of God in a mother to her children?. What a delightful post and great words of encouragement. No 3 and 9 got me. Bless u ma.

    • Ikea Joy Chiamaka

I really needed to read these quotes, especially number two which said, ” don’t let others make you feel that you’re not good enough…. “. Often, people don’t understand how fragile a person’s self confidence can be when they say some things they do. But we should remember that ” we are fearfully and wonderfully made… ” and no one else can be you as good as you!!!
Thank you ma, for these nice quotes.

  • BROWN FAVOUR

“Wisdom is the principal thing”, “in all your dealing, seek wisdom”. Thanks you ma for once again reminding us of who we are. And how we should be relating to our fellow human being.

  • okoye paschalmary

Wow this is fabulous and very educative

  • Ezekiel Stanley

I love this particular one- Don’t let anyone tell you you’re not good enough ’cause you’re fearfully and wonderfully made.
You know that people are like our self mirror they satirically inform us about our weaknee.
However, it is important we remind ourselves that “people call you something after you have become; God calls you something before you become” Acts 13:22.
    Be bless

    • Edith Ohaja

The inverted commas in your comment make it seem as if you quoted Acts 13:22 but this is what that verse really says: “And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.” I wonder how it relates to your point.

  • Anulika

    Wow!!
Life truly does come with surprises. And what finally counts is your conduct and reaction to them all.
And yes!!! Talking hepls much more than we can imagine.
I got over many issues of life because I learnt to speak out; to share my problems and deepest concerns to the right people and I was never the same afterwards.
The bonus right after number ten is in fact, a beautiful summary of our purpose here on earth.
The world around should live in constant admiration of who we are through our kind, considerate, sensible, sensitive and thoughtful lifestyle.
Being good is the best policy.
On social media and its impact, I think it’s a very important advice.
Oftentimes, we’re overwhelmed by the contents out there and without a keen and thoughtful examination of them, we lose ourselves in the process and become a reflection of the inconsideration raging there.
Thank you, ma, for these priceless nuggets of advice.

    • Okemiri Ifunanya Diana

Very true no 6 is common, we don’t acknowledge our maker for his goodness and mercies until we see someone who can not even speak or someone that his or her own situation is worst than ours. I will also like to add one. count your blessings and name them one by one, and it will surprise you what the lord has done.

  • Ifeyinwa Arene

I really learnt something new in this post. I especially love number 13.

  • These quotes are realy the guidelines for a calm and interactive life.taking from no_2 don’t allow people discourage you, humans will always give doubts and claim their view are more superior to yours, that should never be a topic in heart or worry. The major idea move on your own thought and aim.
But in same sense we as individual should always relate holding to no_4 talk to someone when you are blue it will help to go over it. Like a problem shared is half way solved.
Moreover picking out number5 don’t prey on others;mutual relationship should be encouraged in our hearts try and embrace love for one another. Tell each other arear of fault to enable reconciliation to maintain peace.

  • Ejiofor Emmanuel

These should be a daily motivation guide to anyone who wants to succeed. It’s Inspiring!

  • Amana Sharon Umola

Amazing quotes ma. I love this quote in particular “Talk with someone when you’re blue. That may help you see things through”. Most of the time, i do not like talking to people but then i end talking to some persons. Seeing this quote today has made me realize that it should be a life time practice.

    • Abaraonye Chidinma

Wherever you find yourself – valley or mountaintop – be thankful and make the most of it…….wonderful! One thing is to get wisdom and another thing is to apply it. May God help us to apply all wisdom that come our ways.

  • Oma

    This motivational.
2,4,12 and 13 got to me but most especially I like number 2 cause I believe i’m wonderful and fearfully made so I should not feel inferior. Thank u ma

  • Ugama Gloria Nkechinyere

“Don’t let anyone tell you that you are not good, because you are fearfully and wonderfully made” I like this!
I believe anything made of God is unique and beautiful.

  • Ikebudu Juanita Chinenye

Most times people jus die in silence,a problem shared is half solved. I think I love that qoute that talks about that the most.

  • Nnamani Oluoma Esther

The second quite is something I can relate to. You shouldn’t let anyone tell you you’re not good enough ’cause you’re fearfully and wonderfully made. Everyone has their own signature, we are all special in our own way. We shouldn’t look at others and think they are better than we are. Because we have something that the other person doesn’t have. God created each and everyone of is with that special something and we only have to discover it and utilize it properly.

  • ologhofor sampson

God bless you ma. Life comes with a mixed bag of experiences. What matters is how you take it. I concur with you ma. The reason why some persons sees life to be useless is because they don’t understand life and what comes with it, how to take what comes with it, manage it and bring out the best out of it.

  • Ezeh Blessing

Am so blessed with these wonderful words of wisdom. We should not allow people to weigh us down by what they say because, ships do not sink because of the waters around them but sink because of the water that enter inside of them. Our attitude toward situations that life present to us matters the most. More wisdom ma.

  • Favour Nnaemeka

I personally can relate to quote number 4 because I’m a firm believer in a problem shared being a problem half solved. Even if it isn’t solved, at least you get the burden of keeping it to yourself off your chest.

  • Ogbobi Blessing Ojonoma

Joy is indeed an inward thing, especially when you feel fulfilled. Depression and low self-esteem eats up one’s joy and confidence in oneself gradually. It’s indeed an encouragement to my soul, it has strengthened me today. Thanks a lot ma, greater wisdom.

  • Ugwoke ifechukwu melvina

Thank you so much ma for this wonderful post.I really needed these words of encouragement.

  • Anita amadi

God bless you ma. My life is better shaped with these words of wisdom

Life comes with a mixed bag of experiences. What matters is how you take it. This is a fact what matters in life is how you handle issues and challenges you face whether good or bad. Am blessed by this.

  • Izuogu, Ozioma precious.

Wonderful post ma. I learnt that it is good to be contented with anything we have no matter how small it may be.

  • Enwerem Chiamaka

I’ll remind myself of these points everyday. Inspiring words ma. Your words are full of wisdom. thanks

  • Chinenye lucy

Problem shared is problem half solve. At least sharing my issues and problem to an ear that wants to listen to me tends to reduce the thinking and headache.
But still the best person to share our problems to is God because he alone can profer solutions.

  • IBEH CHIAMAKA JENNIFER

Opening up to a person or sharing your problems with someone is very helpful because, they could be of help to you in finding the solution to that problem. It’s better than falling into a state of depression. And also, we shouldn’t let people define whom we are because it could also lead to low self esteem.

  • Onu Tochukwu

Thanks for this eye opener. This really helped me work on my self esteem especially the “Don’t let anyone tell you you’re not good enough ’cause you’re fearfully and wonderfully made.”

  • Ibe Arinzechukwu Christian

Indeed it’s a life quote. The number 15 of this write up caught me. It drew my attention to the Golden Rule. Let’s try to consider every human life sacred because it’s obvious that no one would want to defile his or her own life in anyway. By so doing, we should take human life as a treasure that can’t be retrieved once lost.

  • ifunaya chukwuemeka

Yea,those wise sayings are really on it for guidance to anyone who deem it fit to follow it. This life is full of many pitfalls so advice should be taken from good sources as many as one can get…thanks for this nuggets…Ma

  • Thank you ma for this wonderful quotes.I love quote 6; sometimes i think that am the only one with the worst case not knowing that am blessed.

    • Ajibe Chinonye

Quote No 4 really caught my attention,”always talk to someone when you are blue”.I don’t always do this,I just bottle them up and try to solve it alone.i feel like people won’t understand the situation but I will try to speak out to friends.

  • Anabude oluchi

Quite inspirational, looking at no 10, we should endeavor to go for the best ,settle for nothing than the best and remain that optimistic fellow then the sky will be our starting point

  • Nnaka Chiagoziem Prince

Wow. I love these quotes they’re excellent.
The quote number 10 is accurate, no need to back down in chasing your dreams. Teaching us how to aim high and not settling for less,
Am going for the best and nothing but the best.
    Thank you ma
    NO GLORY COMES WITHOUT PAIN.

  • Henry

*Beauty is more than skin deep when gorgeousness is matched with virtuousness* I love this.
Of what use is beauty without Virtue?
Virtue is more than beauty. Thank you

  • Ukwueze Oluchi B.

Wow, this is awesome. There are lots of nice quotes. However, my favourite from the post is “Do not toy with human lives. Always remember that life is sacred”.

  • Onoyima Juliet

    8. Be as willing to take advice as you are to give it.
This is a quote I will save. Its words are simple but its meaning is deeo.

  • Onah Ukamaka Blessing

thanks ma for the post ma, i so much love the 13th wisdom for life which states that Consuming too much of social media can leave you shallow, rude and envious. and this is very applicable to the youth of nowadays including myself.

  • Ndiwe Vivian

“Be as willing to take advice as you are to give it”, this particular quote got to me. Always be submissive to good advice and give good ones too.

  • Igbo Chukwuemeka kingsley

wow what an inspiring 15 words of wisdom, all of them are very important. the one i find very important to my own self which is my ideology about joy.
the second word of wisdom that deals with the pressure to show how joyful u are within the outside and people dont know that the joy is a state of mind

  • I always tell myself where ever I find myself in this life no matter how rough and hard am going to survive it. Born survivor

  • My new year resolution; am not going to let anyone make decisions for me or make me feel like am not worth it or even make me feel like I don’t look good. Am going to do what I feel is the right thing for me. God bless you ma

  • Onah Chiamaka

Thank you ma for these set of amazing quotes. We need to read more of inspiring and motivational write up than anything. No 2 struck me because it reminds us that we don’t need to feel inferior or insecure because we are good enough

  • Otti Augusta

“Beware of the pressure to prove how joyful you are. Remember- joy is a state of mind, not an activity or possession”.
    Wow, I just understood this.
Most times we try to show off to tell others how happy we are. I just understood that I don’t need to make a display for others to know how joyful I’m.
    Indeed its not an activity.

  • Andeshi Moniica

‘Do good everyday and add value wherever you are’ this quote is a reminder of our purpose here on earth in relation to the second most important commandment which is ‘we should love our neighbour as ourselves’ and the only way to do this, is by doing good and impacting on people’s life positively wherever we are.

  • The quotes are really wise ones not just by title. Do not toy with human lives, remember life is sacred. I wish countries or people that always preach war reads this.

  • Nnachetam Favour

“Consuming too much of social media can leave you shallow, rude and envious” this is exceptionally true, I was ones a victime but thank God for intervening through my parents. You are full of wisdom aunty Edith and thank you for sharing.

  • Ebubechukwu

I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Thanks a lot for your motivation. Keep it up ma

  • These quotes teach us valuable lessons in life. I like quote number 9 which says “When the waiting becomes intolerable, what you’re expecting is probably about to manifest”. It reveals that we should be patient in life and expect anything to happen at any point in time.

  • Ajibe Chinonye

Quote No 4 really caught my attention”always open up to people when you are blue”.This is not something I do because I don’t always open up but instead I try to solve by myself. But I will try to make an improvement.

  • Eya paschal uz

“life comes with a mixed bag of experience, what matters is how you take it”. Most of us when embracing ugly times, have refused to see God in them. Goodies are their expectation about life. We need to stand after every fall amen.

  • My best quote of all these quotes is the one extracted from Bob Marley’s “The Heathen”.
The quote touched sensationally. Nice one ma, I love the work you are doing on quotes.

  • Aniebo Beauty

Wow…. Thanks ma for these words of motivation. I pray that God will continue to strengthen you and incresase your impact. You are such a blessing to us.

  • CORNELIUS ODINAKA

Wonderful. It is a great word of encouragement and has the tendency of healing a breaking heart, I am blessed by it. Thumbs up MA.

  • Irawaji Itongikunyiowaji Praise

What a wonderful piece Ma, many lessons to be learnt just from one piece. I take great interest in the third point as encourages positive self-esteem.

  • “Don’t let anyone tell u that you are not good enough cause you are fearfully and wonderfully made”
This particular sentence got me, attimes we tend to underrestimate our own self such that we don’t even know what we are capable of doing or even think we can’t do anything, we keep running to people for their opinion/help and when they tell u not to embark or do something, we just quit cause they did… we should know ourselves better than anyother and know what we are capable of doing and not think we can’t do something for some reason or the other

  • Than you ma for this inspirational and motivational quotes, it will help to build a great man and woman in the future. I like No 13 spending less time on social media and more time having personal time with God to read the bible and some inspirational text that will help build up your faith in God. Everything in this world is vanity upon vanity. You have to make your way right so you won’t perish in hell. God bless you ma.

  • IGBOKWE JANEFRANCES JESSICA

Number 7 is one attitude I admire and would love to have..delayed gratification is very rare these days

  • Okonkwo Goodness Chiamaka

Mind blowing and motivational quotes. Don’t allow anyone define who you are. We are the embodiment of Christ himself. We are ruling in this world and even in the world to come.

  • Immanuella Uwa

Wow.. Thanks alot Ma for these motivational quotes. I love all of them, they build confidence.

  • Orji Chidiebube Prudence

Quote three caught me. Being joyful is something I’m really working on ‘cause, I’ve realized that it’s self- determined and not defined by situations. It also goes a long way to guaranteeing one’s result. Next is the twelfth quote that spoke of being thankful at any state and position. It just connects with the former as one can never be thankful without being joyful. Thank you Ma for the beautiful quotes. God Bless you.

  • Edeh Chinaza Jennifer

“Beauty is more than skin deep when gorgeousness is matched with virtuousness”
    Edith Ohaja

Only few individuals can relate with the above quote by our amiable Auntie. Beauty when matched or measured with virteousness entails something more than just shallow look but qualifies an inward personality traits,(ie what differentiates you from others).

Another thing to consider in this encouraging, inspirational quotes is the fact that; those you did good to today, will never forget you tomorrow, in as much as those you belittled today, would never forget it as well.

    *Be careful who you hurt*

Be good to all but remember not to live according to people’s description for you.
Create a style that suits you, makes u happy and yields praise to heaven.

Do good everyday and add value wherever you are.

God bless you.. Auntie Edith.. I cherish you

  • Bessong Faith A.

These quotes are really a good start for the week. No. 12. “Wherever you find yourself – valley or mountaintop – be thankful and make the most of it.” really got my attention because how grateful you’re would determine how great you’ll become. So we should always be thankful irrespective of our current situation. Thanks for sharing. God bless.

  • Okoye chilotam Annabel

God gave us the gift of life; it is up to us to give ourselves the gift of living well. No 12 have inspired me, anywhere we find ourselves, let’s try to be the best we can. Let’s be thankful for an opportunity given to us. Let’s live well

  • Ugwoke Somto Promise

I love these quotes. My favorite is quote number 5 (Do not prey on others or you will likely become a prey yourself in future). In other words, do unto others how you want them to do unto you. Do not treat anyone badly if you do not want the same treatment meted out to you.

  • Ossai Chidimma Linda

I am going with this:Don’t let anyone tell you you’re not good enough ’cause you’re fearfully and wonderfully made.

  • Happiness ChiZy

Wonderfully and fearfully made that is what I remind myself of anytime I feel inferior to anything or anyone…

  • Unwana Ekere

Life inspiring quotes, I love them all! It made my day.
#2 “Don’t let anyone tell you who you are, you are fearfully and wonderfully made” People tend to have low self esteem because of their status or what people said. Wonderful post ma!

  • Ayigbo Chineme Edna

All these quotes, are wonderful and sincerely, they touched me especially No 3 – Beware of the pressure to prove how joyful you are. Remember joy is a state of the mind, not an activity or possession. Keep up the good work ma.

  • Daniel Chukwuemeka Madu

A very inspiring set of quotes. No. 12 sticks out for me. We should always be thankful in whatever situation we find ourselves in. People are going through worst. We should also make the most of the situation instead of wallowing in worry and self pity

  • njoga izuchukwu

I’m so blessed reading this post. The quotes are so powerful and inspiring. No 2 caught my attention “Never lose hope because the negative situation you face may turn around at any time.” Looking at our contemporary society, the main cause of frustration and depression is loss of hope. When one is faced with challenges, he/she thinks the whole world is against them, not really understanding that the darkness is temporary and meant to shape us. What an interesting, educative and informative post. Honestly am really inspired. May God almighty give us all His grace to always apply this RICH and HEALTHY post in our daily lives? Wonderful post ma May God help us to face our challenges with courage and so much wisdom.

  • OKEKE CHINONYE

When the waiting becomes intolerable, what you’re expecting is probably about to manifest. This has happened in many cases of my life. There are times when after praying for a long time it seems as if the answers are not forthcoming and then I would almost give up wanting to ask God questions but then the thought that Good sees all keeps me going and within a twinkle of an eye the Lord answers the prayers. I’d become marvelled! God has so many things in store for us. It is the inability of Christians to wait on God that kills most of them. Waiting on God does not require anything because at the latter end you would still not be able to proffer solutions yourself; so why complain, pray and have patience mixed with faith.

Where ever you find yourself be grateful is also another part that speaks to me directly. I say to my self sometimes- see your mates are graduates now, what are you doing here but then when I look back tears roll down my cheeks considering what I should have been grateful for. My mates are also at home, some are in the hospital, some are even dead and many other things. God has a different plan for each and every one of us so let’s not rush God but follow as he leads us!
